This online questionnaire can be used as the basis for taking control of your energy consumption and reducing your bills.
Each person in Mayo spends about EUR1696.72 per year on energy. Most of our energy is derived from burning fossil fuels, either directly in the home or indirectly in power stations, which releases pollutants such as Smoke, Soot and Carbon Dioxide (CO2), one of the main "Greenhouse Gases". Mayo homes alone produce about 225,000 tonnes of Carbon Dioxide per year. Cars also produce huge quantities of Carbon Dioxide. It takes over 200 trees to absorb the Carbon Dioxide produced from one car. So it is easy to see why the atmosphere is suffering. Mayo needs to reduce the amount of fuel it consumes.
We want people to reduce their energy consumption in the home by EUR127 per year by investing EUR127 in energy saving measures, which we will recommend. We ask you to complete this Questionnaire online. We will then analyse your building and recommend the most important energy saving measures you should implement.
Please be prepared to carry out about EUR127 worth of work to your home. This will lead to reduced heating bills, warmer homes, reduced pollution and more money for you!
